I have been a part of Special Olympics for two years. Outside of the organization, I am an educator, working specifically with children with diverse needs. Currently, I am also studying part-time as a student teacher. As a life-long learner, I hope to continue to broaden my perspectives and experiences. As a part of my passion, I try my best to integrate myself within the local community through volunteering. I’ve worked with many organizations. I am proud to be a part of Special Olympics as it is by far one of the most inclusive, and client-centered community. Everyone involved in the community stays involved. That’s what I love best about being a part of this team. As a new member, I hope to contribute further to the community by enhancing our events through engaging our athletes and communities. Please feel free to approach and say hi at our community events! Lily Tong
